DMC Perle (pearl) cotton, in both skeins and balls, is a beautiful twisted thread which has a satiny, supple, and silky feel. This gives needlework projects a raised aspect and lustrous finish. We have Perle 5 and Perle 8 balls available in some colours. 

Perle 5 is made in 114 colours and Perle 8 in 223 colours. 

DMC Perle Cotton is highly mercerized and non-divisible. It is ideal for embroidery, needlepoint, hardanger, blackwork, redwork, pulled thread, smocking, applique, crochet, and other types of creative stitchery.
