Vlieseline Soluvlies as a temporary reinforcement for machine embroidery - Soluvlies can then be washed out completely. It can also be used for small patchwork projects. Suitable for all types of sewable and washable textiles.
Soluvlies is made from 100% polyvinyl alcohol (PVAL), a water-soluble synthetic polymer, and weighs 38 grams/m2. Available in white and with a width of 90cm.
Using Soluvlies:
Place a piece of Soluvlies under the fabric and mount the fabric in an embroidery frame. Embroider the desired motif with the sewing machine then simply wash Soluvlies in cold/lukewarm water and it will be completely dissolved.
